Our Classes

  • Safe Shooter Class (3.5 hrs)

    Introduction to safety and shooting. Includes basic safety rules and safe handling of firearms / handguns, nomenclature, and basic shooting skills. 1.5 hrs of classroom instruction and 2 hrs. on the range firing a handgun. This is the perfect class to relax and prepare you for your CCH class.

  • Intermediate Shooter Class (3 hrs)

    Range time! Review of safety rules and nomenclature. Designed to enhance shooting skills to include “run your gun”, draw, punch out on target, sight picture and sight alignment, trigger control shooting with magazine changes and clearing malfunctions. Will add distance to target as we begin to advance shooting skills. This class requires a PREREQUISITE (BIPS Safe Shooter Class, NRA basic class, or CCH permit).

  • 1* Class (Advanced)

    Repeat all skills from intermediate class. Will add “Situational Awareness”, shooting with movement, cover vs. concealment, did I hit it did it work. Also safe in public safe at home. Be Alert! Requires PREREQUISITE (BIPS Intermediate Shooter Class, No Exceptions).

Working with Booker IPS means you will receive personalized training in every class. Unlike shooter academy operations that run large group classes, Booker IPS takes a custom approach to training, understanding each person has a different situation and need when it comes to working with firearms.
